Location: Denton

Shift: Night B Shift (6:45pm-7am)

Pay Rate: $35.66- $38.88

Job Summary/Objective

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, an Electronic Technician-I installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs automated systems, PLCs, Drives, Motors or industrial equipment. They troubleshoot electrical/mechanical components, ensure system efficiency, and read technical schematics to minimize downtime. Minimum requirements include an associate degree or technical training, certification a plus, strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. System Maintenance: Install, calibrate, and repair automated machinery, control panels, and field devices (sensors, motors, photo eyes).
  2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Drives, and 480V 3‑phase systems.
  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, and updates to wiring diagrams and system documentation. Utilization of CMMS system, SAP.
  4. Safety Compliance: Ensure all machinery and systems comply with industry safety regulations and electrical codes.
Education and Experience
  1. Minimum Educational Level: High School Diploma
  2. Years of Experience: 1-3
  3. Fields of Experience: Electrical Controls
  4. Preferred: Associates or Technical School
  5. Years of Experience: 3+
Other Preferred Skills, Licenses and Certificates
  1. Understanding of AC/DC electrical circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics, and motors. Siemens and Allen Bradley knowledge.
  2. Ability to edit, change or programming PLC's and drives.
Physical Requirements
  1. Carrying and lifting: 20%

Work Conditions: Plant Floor, Various Shifts, OT, Weekends and Holidays, Extreme Heat and Cold, Heights, Elevated Platforms, Dust, Fumes, Gases and Chemicals, Loud Noise.
