HOODZ of Kansas City is hiring a Night Crew member to inspect and clean commercial kitchen exhaust systems after restaurants close, including hoods, ductwork, and rooftop fans. You\'ll work with a crew across multiple sites in the Kansas City area using professional-grade equipment.

Starting pay is $17.50–$19/hr with performance bonuses up to $4,000+/year. Training is provided, uniforms are supplied, and a company vehicle is available. Overtime is possible but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on rooftops.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Available to work nights, Sunday through Thursday.
• Willing to train; hood cleaning experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Pressure wash kitchen exhaust systems: hoods, ductwork, filters, and fans.
• Set up and break down job sites per HOODZ standards.
• Operate specialized cleaning equipment.
• Keep truck stocked and clean; transport to client locations.
• Document work with before-and-after photos using our app.

What You’ll Earn

What You’ll Do

You and your crew will roll out each night after restaurants close and get to work inspecting and cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems from top to bottom — hood, filters, ductwork, and rooftop fans — using professional-grade pressure washing equipment and cleaning techniques.

No two nights are exactly the same. You'll be moving, climbing, pressure washing, and leaving every location cleaner and safer than you found it.

Specific Responsibilities Include

• Pressure washing kitchen exhaust systems: hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans
• Setting up and breaking down job sites per HOODZ standards
• Operating specialized cleaning equipment
• Keeping your truck stocked, clean, and ready
• Driving a company work vehicle to client locations
• Documenting your work with before-and-after photos through our app
