Job summary

StandardAero in North Kansas City, MO is seeking a skilled CMM/CNC programmer for 1st shift to support precision inspection and manufacturing.

You will read blueprints and specifications, set up and operate CMMs, create setup sheets, analyze final outputs, and perform routine calibration and maintenance. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a bonus opportunity, with pay for this position ranging hourly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' CNC or CMM programming experience.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with routine calibration and maintenance on machines.

1st Shift

What you'll do:

• Set up and operate CMM and equipment to make complex and precise measurements of components, tooling, and fixtures

• Read and interpret specification manuals, blueprints and templates for product specification such as tooling instructions, tolerances and dimensions

• Create setup sheets and documents

• Read and interpret measurements, output data and element graphic data

• Analyze final product, checking validity of output to specifications required in blueprints and technical manuals

• Recognize and identify final output accuracy and identify when the final product is inaccurate

• Maintain CMM machines to include probe qualification and regular cleaning

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen/Permanent resident

• Minimum 2 years' of CNC or CMM programming experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience with routine calibration and maintenance on machines

The pay range for this position is $29.21 - $39.62. The compensation package for this position also includes a performance-based cash incentive. Actual pay will be determined based on the selected candidate's skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
