About the Role
The Clinical Equipment Tech supports patient care by ensuring mobile clinical equipment is clean, functional, available, and appropriately distributed across patient care areas. This role performs routine rounding, equipment cleaning and disinfection, inventory checks, basic troubleshooting, documentation, and customer support for clinical staff. The position partners with nursing, clinical leaders, and Biomedical Services to help maintain equipment readiness, support par levels, and elevate equipment concerns appropriately.

Preferred Job Qualifications
- Preferred Licensure or other certifications:
- Preferred Educational Requirements: Associate degree or technical training in biomedical equipment technology, electronics, healthcare technology, or a related field preferred.
- Preferred Experience: One (1) year of experience in a healthcare, medical equipment, logistics, equipment distribution, environmental services, or customer service support role preferred. Experience handling, cleaning, distributing, or troubleshooting medical equipment is preferred.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular rounds on clinical units to distribute, retrieve, clean, disinfect, stock, and inspect fleet medical equipment.
- Ensure proper par levels are maintained and elevate shortages as needed.
- Follow infection prevention, cleaning, disinfection, and safety protocols per OEM and NGHS standards.
- Perform routine inspections to verify cleanliness, functionality, and readiness for use.
