Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation is seeking a Technician for the 2nd shift in Springfield, NJ. The role focuses on cleaning, cleanliness verification, and packaging of components in a regulated cleanroom environment and involves gowning procedures and equipment handling.

You will perform pre-cleaning, precision cleaning of parts, and verification steps using particle counters, microscopes, and visual inspection methods.

Qualifications

• Trained to perform cleaning, cleanliness verification, and packaging per S308 and S311-4/5/6/8.
• Gowning and de-gowning for an ISO Class 5 cleanroom.
• Maintain clean environment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pre-cleaning / bulk cleaning using established methods.
• Gowning / degowning for ISO Class 5 cleanroom.
• Precision cleaning of piece parts, kits, and assemblies.
• Cleanliness verification for contamination, damage, and defects using particle counting microscopes and visual verifications.
• Maintenance checklists to monitor and maintain clean environment and equipment.
• Training of new technicians and providing feedback to engineering teams for continuous improvement.

Job Description Summary:

Trained to perform cleaning, cleanliness verification, and packaging per:

• S308
• S311-4 / -5 / -6 / -8
• Approved Valve-specific Engineering drawing and:
• Cleaning Procedures (CPs)
• Test Procedures (TPs)
• Test Reports (TRs)
• Qualification Procedures (QPs)
• Others as required

Performs:

• Pre-cleaning / bulk cleaning using pre-cleaning equipment and established methods
• Gowning / de-gowning for an ISO Class 5 cleanroom
• Precision cleaning of piece parts, kits, and assemblies
• Cleanliness verification for contamination (FOD), damage, and defects utilizing:
• Evident CIX100 Particle Counting Microscopes
• White light visual verification
• Ultraviolet visual verification
• Total Solids Analysis
• Non-volatile Residue Analysis
• Manual microscopes and video scopes
• Packaging cleaned hardware per process or hardware‑specific instructions
• Maintenance checklists to monitor and maintain
• Clean environment and equipment
• Stocks of consumables (solvents, bagging plastic, gowning items, etc.)
• Functional testing of electrical and pneumatic valve systems as required
• Training of new technicians and providing feedback to engineering teams for continuous improvement of documents, procedures, tooling, and methods.
