AtPrince Telecom, LLC is seeking a Cable Installation Technician to safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses. The role requires reliable transportation and the ability to work in varied weather environments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required; prior cable installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone and/or alarm equipment in homes/businesses.
• Identify and remedy customer-perceived issues and educate customers on product usage.
• Maintain and stock vehicle/equipment; perform overtime, travel, and on-call duties as needed.

The expected pay range for this role is $17.50-$25.50/hr.

What you’ll do

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in cable installation or a related field preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.

The wage range for Technician Cable Installation is$17.00 - $17.00.
