Job summary

Grease Monkey International is seeking a dependable Key Holder for our Quick Oil Change team at Herbert Automotive in Cumming, GA. You will open/close the center, support daily operations, and ensure efficient, friendly service with basic automotive knowledge and leadership potential.

You will lead the team during daily operations, perform oil changes and minor vehicle services, manage deposits, monitor inventory, and uphold safety standards while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a service or retail environment; automotive experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, high integrity and attention to detail.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn
• Ability to manage time and multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Must pass company background check
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the location at the beginning and end of shifts
• Manage daily deposits to the bank and secure the location safe in the Center Manager's absence
• Ensure cash security and closure of the store safe per protocols
• Assist in leading the team during daily operations and ensure workflow efficiency
• Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other minor vehicle services
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report needs to Center Manager
• Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in service bays and customer areas
• Provide outstanding customer service and resolve basic issues or complaints
• Report anomalies to the Center Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager; escalate as needed
• Train and mentor new employees
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Ensure the security of cash from the register drawer and closure of the store safe, in accordance with established protocols
• Assist in leading the team during daily operations and ensuring workflow efficiency
• Perform and oversee oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other minor vehicle services
• Maintain inventory of supplies and report needs to Center Manager
• Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards in the service bays and customer areas
