Short Description:
The Biomedical Equipment Technician Apprentice works under the direction and/or guidance of senior personnel and meets all BMET Apprenticeship requirements as defined in AAMI's BMET Apprenticeship Training Objectives Document on file with the US Department of Labor. This role will perform technical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of simple, routine electromechanical diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices under the supervision of a mentor. Provide support both on-site and remotely to a hospital, service center location, or within an assigned territory.
