TECHNICIAN, BIOMEDICAL II - Worcester, MA (100% Travel)

Join Crothall Healthcare as a Technician, Biomedical II in Worcester, MA. This role involves extensive travel and offers the opportunity to work with a leading healthcare support services provider.

Position Overview

As a BMET II, you will perform maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs on patient care and support equipment, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. You will manage equipment service schedules, provide training, and collaborate with technical staff to improve service quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned maintenance and electrical safety inspections on medical equipment.
  • Manage equipment service schedules and perform pre-acceptance inspections.
  • Respond promptly to clinical department calls for equipment evaluation and repair.
  • Research and order repair parts within budget, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Provide informal training to staff and make recommendations for service improvements.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment and participate in on-call duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree in electronics, biomedical equipment technology, military training, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of servicing clinical/patient care equipment in a hospital setting.
  • Valid driver’s license for travel positions.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, organization, and teamwork skills.
