Job summary

Temco Logistics in Bakersfield is hiring delivery and installation professionals to operate a 26 ft box truck on local routes. You will load, deliver, and install appliances, ensure safe handling with dollies and tools, and connect basic water and electrical components.

Candidates should have a clean driving record, pass a DOT medical, and hold a valid for-hire CDL. Training is provided, and customer service is a priority.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles preferred.
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).

• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.

What You Bring

• MUST be 21+ years of age
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
