Duties And Responsibilities

The Technician will be part of a team for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) based project engineering activities in support of oil & gas and renewables projects performed with Oceaneering’s Offshore Projects Group (OPG).
Typical work scopes will include but not be limited to installation, light construction, decommissioning, diving, well or flowline remediation/intervention and inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) work scopes.

Functions:

Essential

• The Technician is a key member of the project team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of offshore construction projects.
• Work as directed by Lead Tech
• Operate Deck Equipment
• Organize and maintain spares lists - Will participate in OMS inventory system implementation
• Maintain safe and clean working area
• Complete EFR’s
• Maintain spare inventory
• Enter all parts received into the Spare parts sheet and organize in Spares van

Non-Essential

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• High School Degree or GED.
• Preferably 3 or more years' relevant experience from the subsea industry.
• Ability to travel internationally for work scopes.
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• Must be able to obtain:
  
  • Seamen’s book
  • Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)

Desired

• Experience in working offshore on subsea installations or IMR projects, both using ROV’s and diving.
• Prior experience working Internationally.
