Job summary

Kyle's Parker, CO shop Mcdonald Automotive is seeking an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to exact specifications. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to handle various makes and models, and hands-on work with wheel/tire and diagnostic equipment.

The position offers full-time hours in Parker, with competitive pay and benefits designed to support technicians’ growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive technician experience is required.
• Ability to drive and handle various vehicle makes models, and sizes.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, electrical, engine, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
• Tear down, repair, replace, and/or rebuild faulty assemblies such as power systems, steering systems, linkages, pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings for all vehicles.
• Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels and repairs manual and automatic transmissions.
• Adequately explains the technical diagnosis and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals.

Experience & Qualifications Needed:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• 5+ years of automotive technician experience is required
• Ability to drive and handle various vehicle makes models, and sizes
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, electrical, engine, alignment systems, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
