Job summary

Pavion Connects and Protects by providing innovative fire, security, and communication integration solutions. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training under a Licensed Electrician Associate and hands-on experience installing and maintaining electrical and security systems on diverse projects.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, willingness to learn, and ability to read blueprints. Travel to sites and occasional overnight stays are expected; wage is $20.00–$25.00 per hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn, with a willingness to follow instructions and take direction from experienced team members.
• Foundational technical skills and a basic understanding of electrical systems and the electrician trade.
• Proficient in the safe use of hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Flexibility to travel to job sites and stay overnight when required.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in on-the-job training under the guidance of a Licensed Electrician Associate (LEA).
• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting electrical issues and equipment malfunctions.
• Support the testing of electrical and security systems to verify proper installation and functionality.
• Conduct inspections of electrical systems to assess the need for maintenance or repairs.
• Install electrical conduit and pull low-voltage cabling in accordance with project specifications.
• Perform trim-out of security devices, ensuring proper placement and connectivity.
• Replace or repair conduit and wiring as needed to maintain system integrity and safety.

Primary Responsibilities:

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00–$25.00 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
