High school graduate or equivalent.
Current GPA of 2.8 or higher; internal applicants must have a reference from a GBO supervisor/manager and proven ability to enter the program. Applicants below 2.8 GPA are on a 6-month probation.
Passes background and drug testing per GBO policy.
Legal working age as required by law.
Not fully trained or qualified in the occupation for which they wish to be trained.
Physically capable of performing the work, including lifting up to 50 lbs, sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending for up to 12 hours, and climbing ladders up to 10 ft.
Good speaking, reading, and comprehension skills for understanding instructions.
Complete the Accuplacer test or current equivalent for college admission.
