Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an F-22 Electrical Environmental Systems technician located at Nellis AFB NV and Edwards AFB CA, with potential TDY locations. The role involves maintenance modification, upgrade and overhaul, wiring maintenance, and data collection system work.

The candidate should have 5+ years in fighter aircraft maintenance, read schematics, and hold a USAF skill level 7. A DOD secret clearance is required and heavy lifting is expected.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in Electrical Environmental career field.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive aviation experience on the F-16, F-22, F-35, F-15, F-18, A-10, & other fighter aircraft.
• Must be able to perform any modification related duties that are required outside of job description.

Responsibilities

• F-22 Electrical Environmental Systems technician in support of maintenance modification, upgrade and overhaul maintenance efforts.
• The successful candidate will be skilled in aircraft electrical systems and aircraft wiring maintenance.
• The candidate will be able to complete jobs in maintenance data collection systems, adhere to all technical orders, fault isolation manuals, ground operating procedures and local operational instructions.
• Perform troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of components on the aircraft as required.
• Responsible for all maintenance performed on the assigned aircraft.
• Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment.
• Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields.
• Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must have a DOD secret clearance.
• Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
• This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $33.37 - $61.92
