Job Description Summary

Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment, primarily aerial work platforms, general construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC systems and other specialty lines.
• Adopt a safety‑first approach, ensuring all repairs are conducted in the safest and most effective manner.
• Maintain accurate service records and adhere to company service manuals and procedures.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy equipment or specialty line equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas) strongly preferred.

Skills & Abilities

• Provide own mechanic's tools of the trade if required.
• Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills for hydraulic systems.
• Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills for electrical systems.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another language may be required based on location.

Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.
