Hydromax USA in Edmond, OK is seeking a Wastewater Technician I to support our field crews. You will assist CCTV and cleaning teams on sewer projects, collect data, and help keep equipment clean and ready.

You must have a valid driver's license, pass background checks, and be able to travel up to 80% as needed. The role emphasizes safety, environmental protection, and teamwork in challenging outdoor conditions.

Competenze

• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.
• Walk on varied terrain and work in different weather; confined spaces.
• Lift/carry up to 75 pounds.
• Willing to travel 2–3 weeks at a time (up to ~80% of time).
• Confined Space Training certification required or obtainable.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work outdoors with ATV/off-road duties.
• Understand, speak, read, and write English.

In this position, you will assist the cleaning and closed-circuit television (CCTV) crews with various utility projects throughout your assigned area. This role is essential in helping protect the environment and maintain community health by ensuring sewer systems remain clean and properly maintained.This position reports directly to the Field Operations Manager.Regional & Work Environment ConsiderationsThis role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions. Expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat, humidity, sudden storms, and cold temperatures.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide field services for data collection and assess the condition of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems using a wide array of technologies.Maintain clean equipment and toolboxes.Perform basic math skills and use of computer applications.Support the cleaning and CCTV teams with day-to-day operationsAssist in the maintenance and inspection of wastewater systemsFollow safety protocols and company procedures at all timesWork collaboratively with the team to complete assigned tasksJob Qualifications and Skills:Valid Driver's License with a good driving recordAbility to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employmentAbility to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locationsMust be able to walk on various terrain, work in various type of weather conditions and work in confined spaces, bend, squat and lift/carry up to 75 poundsAbility to travel 2 to 3 weeks at a time as needed, work weekends and work some nights.
