Hydromax USA is looking for a Water Technician Trainee in Orlando to kickstart a career in valve maintenance or fire hydrant maintenance. You will undergo a 3-month trainee program, learn to collect accurate data, operate and maintain field equipment, and progress toward Water Technician 1.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Eligible for DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.
• Physically capable of field work and lifting up to 50 pounds.

As a Water Technician Trainee, you'll play a vital role in one of two essential maintenance programs: Valve Maintenance or Fire Hydrant Maintenance and Assessment.Our 3-month trainee program is designed to set you up for success, with clear pathways for career growth. Once you meet expectations, you'll have the opportunity to advance to Water Technician 1.Regional & Work Environment ConsiderationsThis role involves working along busy streets, highways, and residential roads, often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments, uneven terrain, or wet conditions. Expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions.
