Job description

We are looking for a Technician for our Lake Orion facility. This person will be responsible for the setup and monitoring of the coating machines. The main responsibilities include preparing the coating system, loading and unloading the chamber, changing magnetic systems, and inputting process parameters in the operator screen. The individual will pre-treat a variety of customer products using standardized methods to prepare them for coating. They will use analytical thinking and creativity to oversee and assemble chamber loads based on customer specifications. Regular responsibilities also include making critical processing decisions to initiate the coating process and disassembling and reconfiguring the chamber for subsequent loads.
