Job summary

Job Shift: Day

Mail services LLC is looking for a full-time day shift maintenance technician.

We are looking for a person that is highly motivated and a self-starter.

The job is a combination of mechanical, electrical and computer troubleshooting and repairs.

The position also requires making tuning adjustments to the machines as they are running mail to optimize production.

Previous technical repair experience required. The job involves repairing letter inserting and mail sorting equipment. Previous mailing equipment experience preferred but required.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Computer Skills

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer and math knowledge.
