Gettel is seeking a Service Technician to contribute to a busy dealership service department. You will generate billable labor on vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, and repair tasks according to manufacturer specifications.

Maintaining high quality workmanship and clean work areas is essential, with strict adherence to safety and dealership policies. The role involves timely communication with management about any issues impacting objectives or safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service or repair preferred.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produce billable labor on vehicles brought into the service department for service or repair.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and replace faulty parts according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship.
• Keep work area clean as per the Gettel Technician Work Area Responsibilities procedure.
• Inform management of any situation or condition that would jeopardize safety, welfare or integrity of the dealership.
