Job summary

You will assist in developing new test procedures and methods, maintain lab equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a fully onsite Saint Joseph, MI environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical knowledge required to disassemble appliances and troubleshoot.
• Familiarity with MS Word/Excel or Google Sheets for data input.
• Ability to assemble, repair, troubleshoot and test components.
• Experience using common hand tools in a lab setting.
• Engineering degree preferred for entry-level positions.

The Technician will also assist in developing and documenting new test procedures and analysis methods while communicating results to product teams, supervisors, and related departments.

Work Environment

The work environment is a testing laboratory operating from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. It offers an opportunity to gain experience in a lab setting, which can lead to long-term consulting opportunities in different labs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Joseph, MI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
