The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of plumbing experience and strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Explain work to customers and address questions while keeping their home clean and protected.

Pay: 55,000– 75,000 per year, based on experience

EcoWater of Southern California is looking for an experienced Installation & Service Technician to join our team in Riverside.

If you have a strong plumbing background, know how to troubleshoot problems, take pride in your work, and know how to take care of customers, we want to talk to you.

You don't have to be an expert in water treatment when you walk through the door. If you are a good plumber and understand service, installation, and troubleshooting, we can teach you the water-treatment side of the business.

What You Will Do

Our technicians install, service, repair and maintain residential and commercial water treatment systems and plumbing equipment .

• Installing water softeners and water conditioning systems
• Installing reverse osmosis systems
• Installing whole-house water filtration systems
• Installing and repairing pipes, fittings, valves and fixtures
• Making plumbing modifications for water treatment equipment
• Pressure testing plumbing and water treatment systems
• Diagnosing plumbing and equipment problems
• Performing service, maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshooting water pressure, flow and equipment issues
• Inspecting existing water treatment systems
• Explaining the work to customers
• Answering customer questions and addressing concerns
• Keeping the customer's home clean and protected while you work
• Completing service paperwork and documenting your work
• Helping train and mentor other technicians when needed

Plumbing Experience

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of plumbing-related experience or comparable hands-on experience.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Water filtration
• Reverse osmosis
• Water treatment systems
• Plumbing fixtures
• Valves and fittings
• Pumps
• Pressure systems
• Soldering
• Welding
• Service and repair
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics

If you are an experienced plumber but have never worked in water treatment, don't count yourself out.

We can teach you our equipment and systems.

What we can't teach as easily is work ethic, integrity, craftsmanship and how to take care of a customer.

Compensation

55,000– 75,000 per year

Compensation will be based on experience, technical ability, qualifications and performance.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands-on plumbing and service position.

You must be able to:

• Lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Bend, crouch, kneel and crawl into tight spaces
• Stand and perform moderate physical activity throughout the day
• Work in residential and commercial environments
• Work indoors and outdoors as needed
