Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Technician II to maintain and repair our arcade games and bowling equipment in our Olathe center. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and help keep the workshop organized and safe for all team members and guests.

The role requires 1+ year experience with automated entertainment equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years of age.
  • 1+ year repair/maintenance of arcade or bowling equipment.
  • Guest-focused mindset and teamwork required.
  • Ability to learn multiple systems that support the business.
  • Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
  • Basic working knowledge of hand tools.
  • Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 250 lbs.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
  • Willingness to wear PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair games, tellers, pinsetters, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Order supplies and manage inventory for the workshop.
  • Keep mechanic shop clean and organized; follow safety standards.
  • Support new center openings and training activities.

As a Technician, Tech II specifically, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center's equipment, building, and systems, to name a few.
