Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented Fiber Optic Technicians to support a hands-on manufacturing and assembly environment focused on advanced fiber optic products. This role involves precision assembly, inspection, testing, documentation, and quality control within a laboratory and production setting.

Successful candidates will receive training on fiber optic processes and will have the opportunity to work across multiple stages of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precision fiber optic assembly and manufacturing tasks.
• Utilize microscopes, stripping tools, crimpers, epoxies, and other specialized assembly equipment.
• Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Record production results, measurements, and build documentation using Excel and internal tracking systems.
• Troubleshoot assembly and process issues and communicate concerns to technical teams.
• Rotate across multiple workstations and develop proficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process development activities.
