Precision Assembly

• Assemble micro-mechanical and electronic components in a cleanroom environment.
• Perform intricate assembly tasks under a microscope with a high degree of accuracy.
• Construct assemblies, subassemblies, and components from schematics, blueprints, and verbal instructions.

Testing & Inspection

• Test and inspect assemblies and sensors to verify quality and functionality.
• Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or performance issues.
• Ensure products meet strict manufacturing and quality standards.

Soldering & Electronics Work

• Solder fine‑pitch electronic components using precision techniques.
• Support assembly and repair activities requiring meticulous workmanship.
• Utilize electronic testing equipment as needed to verify performance.

Compliance & Quality

• Follow strict cleanroom protocols, including gowning, masking, and contamination‑control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow strict cleanroom procedures and protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to perform repetitive, highly detailed tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience assembling ultra‑precision mechanical or electronic components under a microscope.
• Experience soldering fine‑pitch electronic components.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as:
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Multimeters
  • Related diagnostic tools
• Experience working in an ISO‑certified cleanroom environment.
• IPC J‑STD‑001 Solder Certification.
• Technical degree in electronics, mechanical technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience operating binocular stereo microscopes with long working‑distance optics.
• Strong depth perception and steady hands for intricate bench work.
• Background in micro‑precision trades such as:
  • Watchmaking
  • Jewelry making
  • Miniature painting
  • Precision instrument assembly
  • Similar craftsmanship‑focused fields
