Job summary

HighGround is seeking a Remediation Technician in Bradenton, FL to begin a career in restoration. You will learn mold remediation, demolition, and job-site operations while supporting daily site activities and upholding safety and quality standards.

You’ll work with experienced technicians, perform tasks under supervision, and develop skills for safe restoration work and excellent customer service. Growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow within the restoration industry.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • IICRC certification is a plus (not required).
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Strong customer service skills with a desire to help people in difficult situations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned restoration tasks as directed by technicians or supervisors.
  • Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and maintaining an organized work area.
  • Follow all company SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • Perform basic demolition tasks under supervision using hand and power tools.
  • Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials; assist with setting up and breaking down drying equipment.
  • Clean and organize company vehicles, tools, and equipment; ensure materials are stored properly.
  • Maintain professional appearance and respectful behavior on job sites; follow customer interactions.
  • Arrive on time and ready to work each day; follow instructions and complete tasks, while learning and growing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Job Site Tasks
  • Perform assigned restoration tasks as directed by technicians or supervisors
  • Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and maintaining an organized work area
SOP & Safety Compliance
  • Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
Demolition Assistance
  • Perform basic demolition tasks under supervision using hand and power tools
  • Remove debris and prepare affected areas for restoration work
Equipment Handling
  • Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down drying equipment as instructed
Warehouse & Vehicle Maintenance
  • Clean and organize company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Ensure all materials are properly stored and ready for use
Customer Presence
  • Maintain a professional appearance and respectful behavior on job sites
  • Follow direction when interacting with customers
Attendance & Work Habits
  • Arrive on time and ready to work each day
  • Follow instructions, complete assigned tasks, and demonstrate a willingness to learn
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move 50 pounds or more regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in environments with water, moisture, dust, and debris
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and varying temperatures
  • Capable of operating tools, equipment, and machinery safely
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
