Job summary
Erias Ventures in Maryland is seeking an Enterprise - Technical Writer to support user guides and geospatial documentation. The role focuses on creating and maintaining technical publications for software and hardware, including installation and end-user guides.
Requires a current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance. Two years of TW experience and an associate’s degree in a technical discipline are required. On-site duties at Annapolis Junction, MD with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience as a Technical Writer in similar scope
- Associate’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years of additional TW experience may substitute for an Associate’s degree
- Ability to write and edit technical documentation including software and systems engineering
Responsibilities
- Write and edit technical documentation for hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and how-to guides
- Create code documentation for software and generate implementation and end-user guides
- Maintain internal documentation library and publish materials from various sources
- Collaborate with engineers and technical personnel to gather information and ensure accuracy
