Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop original written copy for marketing purposes, including corporate brochures, electronic newsletters, corporate boilerplate text for proposals and presentations, to provide accurate content and consistent messaging companywide.
  • Manage the archival process with region/group point‑of‑contact for the organization of pursuit information into SharePoint, including SOQs, proposals, debriefs, and interview material to streamline information and increase accessibility nationwide.
  • Develop policies, procedures, process documentation, user guides, style guides, and proposal‑based templates to provide organizational tools for the functional proposal personnel throughout the company.
  • Provide quality control on all marketing‑related material (including print and electronic media) to ensure information is accurate, relevant, and in alignment with the company’s disclosure requirements, messaging, and brand standards.
  • Manage the submittal process for industry achievements and awards to ensure alignment with and support of the company’s marketing strategic plan.
  • Assist the risk management/contracts department and field proposal personnel in executing corporate legal/financial pursuit‑related documents and compliance for alternative procurement bid submissions nationwide.

General Summary

This position is responsible for developing, editing, proofreading, and fact‑checking written content for corporate marketing purposes through various print and digital channels, while delivering unified and consistent messaging that aligns with the company brand. Additionally, the role audits and maintains the central repository archives for project cards, resumes, photography, proposal text, and corporate boilerplate. The position also coordinates between the risk management/contracts department and field proposal personnel, assisting pursuit‑related needs for alternative procurement bid submissions nationwide.

Essential Job Accountabilities
  • Develop original written copy for marketing purposes, including corporate brochures, electronic newsletters, corporate boilerplate text for proposals and presentations, to provide accurate content and consistent messaging companywide.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Prior experience working for a publicly‑traded and engineering and/or construction industry company a plus.
  • Strong English grammar, proofreading, and copy editing skills.
  • Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real‑time challenges with consistent follow‑through.
  • Attention to detail/accuracy, quick learner, and internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, organize work, and work in a high‑production environment while responding quickly and effectively under pressure, changing priorities, and tight timelines.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team, as well as with other stakeholders from other departments.
  • Ability to work in a creative and structured, process‑driven environment.
  • Must be able to receive and incorporate project feedback from manager and team.
Physical Demands
