J&T Business Consulting in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Technical Writer – Level 3 with TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph. You will prepare and maintain critical program documentation, including PMP, PAS, OCS/SOC, FRD, TEMP, SEP, PPP, CSS, and LCSP using approved templates.

The role requires eight years of relevant experience, a technical bachelor’s degree, and an active TS/SCI with polygraph. Master’s or additional experience can substitute for degree requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years as Technical Writer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Four years of additional Technical Writer experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.

Role Overview

Responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of programmatic documentation, including the Program Management Plan (PMP), Program Acquisition Strategy (PAS), Operational Capabilities Statement (OCS) / Statement of Capability (SOC), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Systems Engineerin g Plan (SEP), Program Protection Plan (PPP), Cybersecurity Strategy (CSS), and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP ). Writes and edits programmatic documentation using approved Government templates and formats.

Required Qualifications

Experience

Minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated combined experience as a Technical Writer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Substitutions

A Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience (reducing the requirement to 6 years).

Four (4) years of additional Technical Writer experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.

Clearance

Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph.

Salary Range

$115, 000 – $130, 000 (commensurate with experience, skills, and contractual requirements)
