Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Technical Communications Assistant to support the development, review, and execution of technical publication deliverables for kitchen and bath products.

You will work onsite in Kohler, WI, gathering information, drafting content, handling HTML/XML basics, and ensuring adherence to standards. Under guidance, you will contribute to product documentation, install and servicing content, and participate in team initiatives to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communications, or related discipline.
• Coursework, internship, co-op, portfolio, or up to 2 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, instructional content, or related communication field.
• Computer aptitude and writing proficiency; typing skills essential.
• Demonstrated visualization skills to translate data views between 2D and 3D.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, scheduling, organizing, and tracking Technical Communications deliverables.
• Contribute as a team member on product development teams under guidance.
• Draft and review technical product literature including installation, use, and servicing content.
• Review publications for accuracy and usability per established standards.
• Support content updates and process improvements within the team.
