Job summary

The Toro Company offers a 2027 Summer Internship in Bloomington, MN. The Technical Writer Intern will learn how modern technical information delivery systems are organized and collaborate with the technical writing team to produce new materials.

You will review and edit text-based and graphic materials, and review real machinery documentation for clarity and accuracy while developing step-by-step instructions. Applicants must be available May 17–Aug 6, 2027 and be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Majoring in Technical Communications from an accredited university.
• Completed junior-level courses preferred.
• Ability to stay organized and use Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Arbortext and graphics programs.
• Experience with step-by-step instruction development.
• Understanding of basic industrial machine functions (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
• Graphic arts experience is preferred.
