Job summary

Lukos is seeking a contractor for the NCCIH Office of Administrative Operations in Bethesda, MD. The role focuses on business analysis, policy development, and executive-level documentation to support NCCIH leadership and staff.

You will work with the COR to manage contract services, ensure high-quality outputs, and proactively address stakeholder business needs, including risk management and 508-compliant communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution; MS preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years developing technical, policy, procedural, or executive-level documentation in a professional environment. Federal government experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and revise policies, procedures, reports, briefings, decision memoranda, and stakeholder communications.
  • Translate complex technical and administrative information into audience-appropriate content.
  • Gather and validate information through document review and consultation with subject‑matter experts.
  • Apply established templates, editorial standards, and document‑control procedures.
  • Coordinate reviews and incorporate comments from NCCIH leadership and stakeholders.
  • Perform quality‑control reviews for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and completeness.
  • Support development of Section 508-compliant communications in coordination with NCCIH’s 508 Compliance Team.
  • Maintain current drafts and approved materials in designated NCCIH repositories.

Job Objective

The Office of Administrative Operations (OAO) of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) requires a contractor to provide Business Analysis and Policy Development Support to NCCIH executive leadership and staff. The Acting Executive Officer will work closely with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to manage all contract services to ensure successful delivery of high-quality work products and support to meet stakeholder business needs, managing risks proactively and effectively.

May be responsible for researching, assessing, recommending on scalable and integrated portfolio/program/project and risk management. May be responsible for Advising on and helping gather information on implementing industry and innovative best practices.
