Job summary

Lukos in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Project Manager III to lead portfolio and program initiatives for the NCCIH contract. You will define scope, manage schedules, risks, and deliverables while coordinating with leadership and stakeholders to ensure high-quality work products.

  • Foster outreach and engagement, including information gathering sessions and resources.

  • Identify dependencies and opportunities for collaboration across programs.

Job Objective
The Office of Administrative Operations (OAO) of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) requires a contractor to provide Business Analysis and Policy Development Support to NCCIH executive leadership and staff. The Acting Executive Officer will work closely with the Contracting
Officer’s Representative (COR) to manage all contract services to ensure successful delivery of high-quality work products and support to meet stakeholder business needs, managing risks proactively and effectively.
The contractor shall empower and support NCCIH leadership and staff in assessing, planning, executing, and managing portfolio, program, and/or project activities to achieve Strategic Plan goals. The contractor is responsible for facilitating all business needs analysis and stakeholder management, schedule management, cost management, quality management, scope management, risk management, resource management, integration management, and change management functions

Responsibilities

  • Meet with NCCIH office and division leadership to understand, define, and prioritize portfolio/program/project needs, goals, and success criteria/key performance indicators.
  • Help plan and execute stakeholder communications and management activities including but not limited to identifying stakeholders, assessing their needs and expectations, and planning and implementing various ways to engage with them.
  • Work closely with NCCIH office and division leadership and other stakeholders as needed to plan, execute, and monitor activities and work products in alignment to strategic goals.
  • Meet with NCCIH office and division leadership and other stakeholders to provide updates on and elicit feedback for activities and work products.
  • Communicate activities with stakeholders and maintain a transparent process.
  • Foster outreach and engagement with leadership and stakeholders, including but not limited to developing and facilitating information gathering sessions, emails, decision memos, presentations, training, templates, and resources as appropriate.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to research and gather both technical and background information for inclusion in documents.
  • Actively participate and/or lead relevant workgroups and team/stakeholder meetings/discussions.
  • Identify and communicate internal and external dependencies and/or opportunities for collaboration across programs/projects as appropriate.
