Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a technical writer/communications professional for a two-month contract to develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides. The role requires a BA/BS in IT or CS and at least 1 year of experience with technical writing for targeted audiences.

Preferred background includes Medicaid/Medicare experience and familiarity with AI writing tools like ChatGPT; SharePoint experience is a plus and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 1 year experience developing technical communications for targeted audience(s) and/or developing technical writing standards and tools writing; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• Professional technical or B2B writing experience required; Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred; experience using ChatGPT or other AI tools for writing preferred; SharePoint experience preferred; strong organizational skills.

Hours:

M-F 8-5 EST (Hybrid 1 expectations = in office ONE DAY/WEEK)
There are no OT, on-call, or weekend requirement.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Unless specified as primarily virtual by the hiring manager, contractors are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
