Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor to advance their editing skills across government taskings. The role focuses on reorganizing content, correcting spelling and grammar, and ensuring consistent terminology and layout.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, format materials, and present information in a clear, high school-reading level. Regular progress updates and a flexible work site are provided.

Qualifications

Must obtain DoD Interim Secret clearance prior to start and final DoD Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of directly applicable work experience.
Minimum 3 years of professional related work experience.
Strong attention to detail and expert-level writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading in Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

Produce, proofread, edit, format, layout, and design a wide variety of customer products, e.g., manuals, training materials, SOPs.
Gather information, interview stakeholders, conduct research, and express technical information clearly for the audience.
Provide briefings, maintain a progress tracker, and report on work progress.
Lead and facilitate work product development/revision cycle meetings and implement feedback.
Maintain files, version control, and the knowledge repository.
Own assignments and manage communications to ensure quality and deadlines.
May perform overflow Graphic Designer work as needed.
Support contract requirements with data submissions and timely written reports.
