Job summary

Yes& Holdings, LLC (NDB-7555) seeks a Technical Writer-Editor to shape magazine features, newsletters, technical reports, user manuals, and system documentation. You will manage each product from outline and interviews through final print or web publication.

You will collaborate with engineers, developers, and researchers to translate complex transportation concepts into clear, accurate content for diverse audiences, while ensuring quality and accessibility.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional technical writing, editing, and publishing experience.
• Advanced grammar, typography, and technical synthesis skills.
• Transportation research experience, highway/surface transportation preferred.
• Must be located in the DC Metro area and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• US citizenship or eligibility for a Public Trust/Background Check.

Responsibilities

The Technical Writer-Editor works with engineers, developers, and researchers to shape magazine features, newsletters, technical reports, user manuals, and system documentation. You\'ll manage each product from outline and interviews through final print or web publication.

• Apply the GPO Style Manual and Chicago Manual of Style; meet Section 508 accessibility requirements and manage copyright permissions.
• Conduct source research and interview subject-matter experts.

Requirements
