Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Technical Writer/Editor to join our Federal Strategic Cyber Group. Location: On-site in Arlington, VA, with the possibility of flex/hybrid after 90 days.

You will prepare, design and publish documents and media for a large government user-base, coordinate stakeholder input and fact-checking, and ensure consistent messaging across print and online content while transforming ideas into clear visuals and graphics that support campaigns and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years' experience, 6 years with Masters.
• Demonstrated cybersecurity/IT security writing experience.
• Experience coordinating publications using print and electronic media including the web and desktop publishing software.

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring an experienced Technical Writer/Editor to become part of our Federal Strategic Cyber Group.

Location: On-site in Arlington, VA.

(After 90-days of employment, flex/hybrid may be considered)

In this role, you will:

• Prepare, design and publish documents and media that are distributed to a large government, national and international user-base.
• Coordinate stakeholder input, fact-checking, and integration of written text and graphic design work as necessary.
• Support the implementation, publishing, and distribution of website and content administration and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure consistency of messaging and updates across all printed materials and online content.
• Transform stakeholders' ideas into engaging visuals, products, and graphics to fully communicate campaigns and projects while adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring proper messaging is being executed in all products (web and print).

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience, 6 years' with Masters degree.
• Demonstrated cybersecurity/IT security professional writing experience.
• Experience in the coordination of publications and other collateral material using both print and electronic media including the web and desktop publishing software to draft, edit, and lay out material for distribution.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
