Title: Technical Documentation Writers (Global Migration Program)
Locations: Ohio or Georgia (Remote with some on-site as needed)
Duration: FTE
Compensation: $110-120 yr
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Seeking three (3) experienced Technical Documentation Writers to join a high-impact, global migration program in partnership with a team of twelve (12) Solution Architects. This role is critical to the success of a large-scale enterprise transformation, ensuring all migration processes, procedures, and technical guidance are thoroughly documented, standardized, and accessible to global execution teams.
The ideal candidates will bring a mix of strong technical writing capabilities, deep collaboration experience, and a customer-centric mindset. You'll be instrumental in crafting clear, consistent documentation that empowers teams around the world to execute with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Solution Architects, engineering leads, and project managers to capture and codify technical migration processes and standard work documentation.
  • Translate complex technical concepts and workflows into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Author, format, and maintain content in collaboration platforms such as Confluence, GitHub Pages, ServiceNow Knowledge Base, SharePoint, and Box.
  • Ensure all content meets documentation standards and is optimized for usability, version control, and global reuse.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, process flows, and knowledge articles.
  • Conduct research, interviews, and technical reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to drive consistency, clarity, and accessibility across all written materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in technical writing or knowledge management roles within IT, software, or enterprise systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in documenting technical processes, system migrations, or standard work instructions in large enterprise environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—able to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
  • Strong skills in gathering information, interviewing SMEs, and converting notes into structured documentation.
  • Proficiency with at least several of the following tools/platforms:
    • Confluence (preferred)
    • ServiceNow Knowledge Base
    • GitHub Pages
    • SharePoint
    • Box
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a drive for accuracy and clarity.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or application migrations is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
