Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Technical Writer to join the Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, Maryland. The role focuses on creating and maintaining technical documents to support enterprise engineering contracts, with responsibilities spanning operations documentation, end-user guides, and SOPs for diverse capabilities.

Qualified candidates will have a technical degree, 6+ years of experience writing technical publications, and the ability to collaborate with developers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Six years of experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise and maintain technical documents to support the unit's mission.
• Write and edit technical documentation for operations and capabilities (SOPs, user guides, manuals).
• Create documentation for operations; produce implementation guides and end-user guides.
• Document data definitions, data flow, and format technical publications from drawings and consultations.
