Our direct client is looking for a Technical Writer - 6+ Months Contract - Remote Opportunity - Direct Customer.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation that supports our products and services. This role requires strong collaboration with various departments to ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and user-friendly.

Primary Skills:

• Technical Writing and Documentation
• Documentation Tools
• Madcap Flare (Desired)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain technical documentation, manuals, user guides, and online help content.
2. Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy.
3. Coordinate effectively with the Tech Team, Learning Team, and Business Support Team to align documentation with ongoing projects, training initiatives, and business needs.
4. Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and style.
5. Ensure all documentation meets established standards and is appropriately versioned and stored.
6. Participate in product and process reviews to stay current on changes that may impact documentation.
7. Assist in managing the documentation lifecycle, including version control and updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a technical writer or in a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
• Proficiency with documentation tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with MadCap Flare is a strong plus.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

This role is open to W2 or those seeking Corp-Corp employment.

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 per annum. For Corp-Corp rates, please contact the recruiter.
