  • Expert-level proficiency with the Adobe CC suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects; familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator also preferred.

    1. Fluency with FS7/Sony camcorders and Canon DSLRs.
    2. Deep understanding of proper exposure, frame rate, and resolution (1080 and 4K).
    3. Fastidious about proper white balancing versus fixing issues in editing.

    5. Basic understanding of lighting principles for technology as well as human subjects in interview contexts.

    2. Adobe library template creation.
    3. Understanding of 4K workflow and working with proxies.
    4. Understanding of Lumetri color correction (not just LUTs) and secondary color correction (removing color casts from device screens).

    6. Ability to work within a non-destructive workflow.
    7. Familiarity with audio best practices (compression, limiting, and mixing via the Premiere Audio Track Mixer).
    8. Exporting via Media Encoder: best practices, understanding of export codecs and bitrates, and advanced settings.
  • Able to work with scripts or outlines and translate them into shooting scripts for dynamic videos that cast the client's products in the best possible light.
  • Able to rework technical language (e.g., user manuals) into smooth, explanatory voiceover and text; the ideal candidate has a passion for explaining technical processes to a layperson and strives to create videos in which voiceover, text, graphics, and image work together to provide information in the most efficient, engaging way possible.
  • Experience working in a corporate environment, comfortable communicating via office email, able to drive conversations to get needed information, and able to follow common corporate communications etiquette.
