Qualifications

• Six years' experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four additional years of TW experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience supporting government or DoD programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
• Write and edit technical documentation for all project hardware and software including installation, configuration, and how-to guides.
• Create code documentation for software, implementation guides, and end-user manuals.
• Provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and format publications from multiple resources.
• Support High-Capacity Sensor Operations (HCSO) documentation and related training materials.
• Ensure compliance with contract and security standards; collaborate with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do

• Support mission-critical programs in secure government environments
• Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results
• Ensure compliance with contract and security standards
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance
• Be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
• Write and edit technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation.
• Create code documentation for software, produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities, provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation, and format technical publications from pamphlets, technical drawings, consultations with technical personnel and other available resources.
• This project provides, but is not limited to, High-Capacity Sensor Operations (HCSO) Integrated Operations Center (HIOC) documentation support, process and system documentation support, configuration management support, process support, and training support, to include HCSO business process training and foreign partner system training courses.
• You must be a "power user" in the following applications: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.

• Six (6) years' experience as a Technical Writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, complexity is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (Security+, CISSP, PMP, AWS, etc.)
• Agile, cloud, or modernization experience
• Background in process improvement or analytical services

Compensation & Benefits

The projected salary range for this position is $114,300-$127,000, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and contract requirements.
