Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. seeks a Technical Writer to author and maintain documentation for the Command and Control Processor program. The role collaborates with CM, engineers, and product managers to deliver user manuals, installation guides, and API docs.
You will develop templates, manage multiple docs, run usability testing, and keep knowledge bases current. Candidates should have GED or equivalent and be able to obtain government clearance; US citizenship required.
The Technical Writer is responsible for authoring and maintaining documentation for the Command and Control Processor program. They will play a supporting role in achieving the organizations goals by developing standardized documentation templates across the C2P project, working hand-in-hand with the Configuration Management team to ensure that CM standards are upheld, and updating documentation as new project capabilities are realized. This position will directly impact program usability through delivering comprehensive user-friendly Software User Manuals and play an important role in providing other documentation to program stakeholders.
$80,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually, DOE
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
