Job summary

Chitra Productions seeks a Technical Writer to create, edit, and manage technical documents, plans, reports, and presentations in support of Army and DoD programs. You will ensure quality and compliance with regulations while organizing a library of documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, peer reviews, and the ability to explain complex material to non-technical audiences; a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required or anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree if the four years of technical writing and editing experience was with the Federal Government.
• Possess the ability to work effectively within a collaborative writing environment
• Have the ability to effectively describe technically complex material to a non-technical audience;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with project coordination and/or project scheduling
• Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
