Job summary

Nestlé S.A. in Crete, Nebraska seeks a Technical Training Specialist (Maintenance) to shape the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team.

You will drive World Class Manufacturing practices, design and implement training programs, and lead leadership development efforts for continuous growth. You will partner with local and divisional stakeholders to approve, coordinate, and prioritize needs, owning content and execution methods for factory maintenance training and coaching.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military, or similar operating environment.
• 1+ years’ experience in training and development, overseeing programs, and leading educational initiatives.
• 1+ years' SAP experience required.
• Associate’s degree route includes 2+ years maintenance experience and 1+ years’ training initiatives.

Position Summary

Our factory in Crete, Nebraska stands as one of the largest manufacturers in the area and one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Together, we proudly produce over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including renowned brands such as Alpo®, Nestlé Purina ONE®, Pro Plan®, Friskies®, and Nestlé Purina Veterinary Diets®. As the Technical Training Specialist (Maintenance), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and knowledge of the maintenance team. You will be at the forefront of driving World Class Manufacturing practices, ensuring that the team is equipped with the latest competencies to excel in their roles. From designing and implementing training programs to fostering leadership development and spearheading pillar activities, you will be the driving force behind the continuous growth and improvement of the maintenance personnel.

• Support, coordinate and oversee the development of standardized onboarding for the factory technical maintenance teams. The development of these programs will be aligned with the Business priorities and aimed at addressing the top factory losses and future strategy.
• Monitor and coordinate ongoing onboarding and competence management for maintenance personnel at factory location as well as the determination of onboarding content and plans for development of materials for key competencies.
• Coordinate efforts and oversee deployment of a digital competence management platform and continue development of a digital structure strategy for maintenance space and to enhance competence management.
• Coordinate efforts, monitor and recommend improvements to World Class Technical Training Center, including development of technical training modules and oversight of technical training curriculum development.
• Own content and execution methods for training and coaching the Factory Maintenance Teams.
• Work in partnership with local and divisional stakeholders for approval, coordination, development, and prioritization of needs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military, or similar operating environment.
• 1+ years’ experience in training and development, overseeing programs, and leading educational initiatives.
• 1+ years' SAP experience required.

• Associate’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, military, or similar operating environment.
• 1+ years’ experience in training and development, overseeing programs, and leading educational initiatives.
• 1+ years' SAP experience required.

The approximate pay range for this position is $66,000 - $91,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
