A leading energy provider in Illinois seeks a Technical Training Instructor to provide leadership and technical development for internal training. The role includes developing and delivering electrical training courses, collaborating with team members and vendors, and ensuring a safe learning environment. The Technical Training Instructor is responsible for providing leadership and technical development while fostering a safe and effective learning environment for internal GPC technical employees. High initiative and self-motivation are key as this person will develop, deliver, and evaluate electrical training courses, training aids, and other necessary materials for Southern Company Generation's General Plant Operator (GPO) program. This individual will actively collaborate in a team environment with other technical trainers and SMEs across the Southern Company System to align training with SCS organizational goals. Additionally, this person will partner with vendors, schools, and consultants to ensure cost-effective, high-quality training.
