Group CBS, Inc. seeks a Technical Training Instructor to develop, deliver, and evaluate technical training for Apprentices and Field Service Technicians.

The role combines extensive field experience with instructional leadership to ensure high-level electrical knowledge, practical skills, and safe work practices for testing, maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low, medium, and high-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and delivering technical training for apprentices.
• Strong field experience with electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of LV/HV systems.
• Ability to mentor and act as SME for technicians and customers.
• Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E standards.
• Collaborates with Operations and Supervisors to align training with company standards.

Job description

The Technical Training Instructor is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating technical training for Apprentices. CBS Field Service Technicians and Customers . This position combines extensive field experience with instructional leadership to ensure employees develop the technical knowledge, practical skills, and safe work practices required to perform electrical testing, maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems.

The Instructor serves as a subject matter expert and mentor while supporting the organization's workforce development initiatives, apprenticeship program, customers and technical certification goals. This role works closely with Operations, Field Supervisors, and Management to ensure training aligns with company standards, NETA practices, OSHA requirements, NFPA 70E, and customer expectations.
