Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver hands-on training in foundational technical skills for manufacturing and assembly operations. This role develops, facilitates, and evaluates training programs to build competency in tool use, workmanship, workplace organization, and process compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical or electrical manufacturing/assembly experience required.
• At least 1 year of teaching/training experience.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear, step-by-step instructions.
• Knowledge of 6S/5S, quality standards, and basic measurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on technical training for manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Develop lesson plans, materials, and visual aids.
• Conduct demonstrations, guided practice, and competency assessments.
• Evaluate learner progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to align training with needs.
• Adapt training to diverse learning styles and shifts.
