Job summary

Toshiba International Corporation in Houston is seeking a Training Specialist to instruct customers and employees on current and legacy products. You will design courseware, schedule webinars, and maintain training equipment and manuals to support sales and distribution.

Travel up to 50% to customer sites and manufacturing environments; 2-year technical degree required, 2–4 years of teaching experience, and proficiency with MS Office, ERP, and CRM are expected.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent military training.
• 2-4 years of experience in training roles.
• Experience with product training in manufacturing environments preferred.

Job Summary

Instruct and train customers and employees on current and legacy products at both Houston and remote locations. Schedule and conduct Webinars and Virtual Learning Events to support sales and distribution. Maintain training equipment and manuals. Design and develop courseware, including lesson plans, schedules, manuals, instructional materials, and testing.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time occasionally may be required to walk, climb, stoop, squat, bend, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs or less
• Generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate
• To access work area one must occasionally walk through a warehouse setting
• Spends approx. 75% of time in a temperature controlled environment
• Spends approx. 25% of time in customer sites and manufacturing environments
• May be exposed to possible hazards including high voltage, noise, heavy machinery, and inclement weather
